Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed our stay at Cascade View. The house was nice and the views were amazing. The property was well kept and clean. The blackberry bushes in the backyard were ripe and we enjoyed all we could eat. Our four year old loved it. Two negatives to note. The master bed was VERY firm and had a rubber mattress pad (very strange) which made sleeping in that room uncomfortable.

Close to Everything

A beautiful two story house with an upscale design perched in a prime location on Saratoga Road with a sweeping view of the Saratoga Passage and the Cascades beyond. The house sits in a quiet location but is a short drive from the shops, galleries and restaurants of the quaint town of Langley and only slightly longer but forested drives to the Clinton Ferry in one direction and top rated Double Bluff Beach in the other. The hidden gem for us was the Saratoga Woods, only a hundred yards down the road, with a network of trails through an enchanting old growth forest. After an exciting day on this wondrous island, this well situated rental house was always a welcome place to return, relax and gaze at the incredible view through the many windows on the main floor and in the bedrooms, from the large deck or out on the back lawn. We highly recommend staying at this house while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of Whidbey Island!

Great home with a spectacular view

We stayed for approximately a week in this Langley property- the house was just as represented, and a very comfortable stay. We had a couple of minor issues that required communication with the property management team, who were absolutely responsive and accommodating. If there was any negative about the house, it would be that the property, while equipped with the basics, seemed a touch light on amenities, relying on whatever leftovers were provided by previous guests for pantry staples, and providing the bare minimum paper products for the bathrooms. While this is stated in the description, ("starter supply"), it's not very expensive to provide those, and the overall impression of the property would increase noticeably. We will certainly keep this property on the short list for when we come back!

Beautiful get-away!

This house was a respite for us! We enjoyed watching the water and clouds change as the weather changed. Hummingbirds were in abundance. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to take a break. The house is beautiful and comfortable and the listing is accurate - it was easy to find with GPS and there were lots of things to do in and around Langley!

It was in a beautiful location and was the exact right property for our needs. Surprisingly the rental was equipped with a whole house generator which was extremely helpful when an unprecedented storm swept through the Northwest knocking out power for more than 24 hours. We continued to have water, heat and electricity. We were very fortunate and grateful.

Beautiful view!!!

We loved staying here. It is spacious and well appointed. The view is amazing and watching the colors change over the mountains during sunrise and sunset was a highlight. Would love to come back!

A Very Happy Birthday Getaway

We loved every minute of our stay...the view was spectacular...even saw 2 bald eagles soaring. The house was extremely comfortable and fireplace was so cozy! It was like being at home away from home... The kids were happy to be so near to the water and watch the ships...the yard gave them safe space to be outside as it is fenced.. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and hope to return soon.

Beautiful views and great hiking nearby!

We loved this house! Nice open space with great views. It had everything we needed for our stay. We have two young kids and It was our first time on Whidbey island. It was nice to be close to a great hiking spot and restaurants were a short drive away.

Good location, great view, quiet

We were two families with young children. Despite all the rooms on one level, we found the walls to hold noise very well. The kitchen/dining room area was spacious and lent itself well to cooking/relaxing. It was so enjoyable to wake up to a view of the water each morning! Everything was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The setting of this house couldn’t be better, almost 360 view of mountains and water. The inside of the house was spotless, however even though it was November the deck and front porch were very dirty. The furnishings were on the minimal side and the Cookware were nonexistent or in disrepair. The most unfortunate event happened when we lost power and the security alarm went off and we couldn’t shut it off. After calling the after hours person, who was very rude, someone from the property management came over and was able to disarm it.
