Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

This house was perfect for our quick getaway to Whidbey Island. Our kids loved the hot tub and pool table. I loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Highly recommended.

This home was in a great location. Walking down to the beach access was incredible. We saw Orcas the first day. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Whidbey Island is now my favorite place to stay when coming back home to the PNW.

Nice house for a comfortable stay!

Nice place for a weekend getaway. The main area is spacious and filled with light during the day, and it felt like a home away from home. The layout is nice for a family. We stayed here with our toddler and mostly stayed on the main floor and blocked off the stairs with a gate we brought from home. It was nice to have a spacious kitchen to make coffee and breakfast in the mornings and enjoy it in the sunny dining area. The beds were comfy and made for good nights’ sleep for all of us! It was an easy drive to the fun things to do in Langley and nearby. Would stay here again!

So much fun

Super unique property. Kids, 7 & 9, loved it. We had their cousins over who live on the southside of the island and between the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table the kids were always doing something in between daily activities. 10 min to Langley which we spent a lot of time in town. It has all the amenities which make for a great homebase for activities.

Whidbey Trip

The house was beautiful and in a nice location. However, on check-in, there was a note about the fridge not working and said they were working on getting it fixed (no one showed up). Also, unmentioned, the dishwasher wouldnt turn on and Vacasa has purposely made themselves inpossibe to contact reasonably. I will never rent a place managed by Vacasa again. While the house is nice, bring everything as they do not have many convenience items. No oils, spices, minimal pans/cookware, etc...

The house is very nice and well updated, unfortunately when we arrived the house had a very bad smell throughout the entire upstairs. The hot tub was unusable due to non existing cleaning as it had a slime growing in it. The washing machine had black mold growing in it causing the towels to smell, again poor cleaning. The bathtub could not be used as a tub as the stopper did not go fully down to block the water. The coffee maker was disgusting. The house has a lot of potential and location is amazing.

Loved the light & airy space. Would rent again - lovely place on the island. Suggest replace one of the kitchen table chairs as not stable, dishwasher doesn’t consistently work & towels are quite old so worth considering replace. Thank you!

The pictures were a little misleading

While we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, we encountered some issues. We expected beach access and scenic water views, but the presence of unmentioned electric lines obstructed our view. Furthermore, the lack of balcony furniture disappointed us, especially considering my 96-year-old father's desire to enjoy the view. Adjustments to the pictures could make your property match our expectations.

Hot tub (one reason we selected this property) was unsafe. Its chemicals were way off when we tested it. Sheets on the downstairs queen bed had dirty sheets with brown crusty soil. Downstairs toilet handle was broken and required opening the tank to flush. Dishwasher was broken: bottom basket without its wheels, spray arm not turning, and we had to turn the breaker off for five minutes and then on again to get power to the dishwasher (it wasn't tripped and just resetting didn't work). Bathroom wastebasket was full. Bottom rung on dining table chair was broken. Had to buy our own paper towels, additional toilet paper. No cooking oil, spices or condiments were provided. The front door lock required a 10 digit code and took multiple tries to open. A very disappointing (and not cheap) rental! We were there 8/10 - 8/14/2025.
