Every thing were great from room to breakfast and staff were amazing except we were expecting the pool to be opened as there was no mention of it being closed when we made the booking.
However,, we still enjoyed the stay and definitely will recommend the property.

Facility is older than I am used to at Holiday Inn Express. Lack of coffee maker in the room was disappointing. The coffee at the breakfast area was too weak. I had to then go looking for a coffee shop before driving out of town.
Overall disappointing stay.

Holiday Inn Express in East Lansing is our go-to home away from home when visiting my niece. Location is easy to get to, parking is well-lit and plentiful, and the property is very clean and well-appointed. There is an ample daily breakfast to serve a variety of preferences and the equipment in the fitness room all works as it should and there is a full set of dumb bell weights. I did not use the pool but there is an indoor one. Staff is responsive and welcoming and informative. Highly recommend this property!

Room was best up. Patches up holes in walls that were not painted. Some holes in walls not bored up. Door to room and bathroom did not fit well into door jam. Door to room had a crack that light shine in from hallway. Toilet did not flush away waste well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient and quiet. Close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. The beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast that is included is very good. The blind in our room didn't work so it had to remain drawn all the time.
