A Great Stay at Our Place to Paws Luxury Cabin

The property was beautiful with plenty of amenities. The kitchen was roomy with everything needed; the living areas were very comfortable; and the outdoor upper and lower decks were incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Our Place to Paws Luxury Cabin to others.

Family Annual Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all the experience was great! A couple of quirks that we were not use to.....making sure that there was only 2 loads of dirty linen left for housekeeping (with 3 bedrooms (2 king and 1 queen)being used that alone took up a lot of loads and then you have to factor in towels for 6 people and the kitchen linen. Not use to having to do laundry. The other quirk was that we were only left 2 dishwasher soaps and we were there for 4 nights. But my family conquered these and enjoyed our Home Away from Home!

Restful Getaway

The property is very clean, and well appointed. The kitchen has every gadget or utensil needed. The temperature was very easy to maintain on all levels of the home. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious and was able to accommodate two families.

Peaceful Home

We came to the area for a funeral and stayed in this beautiful cabin for the weekend! It was super comfortable and a great fit for our crew. The kitchen is the most well stocked rental I’ve ever seen! It was a great place to unwind and relax after a stressful time.

Tranquil Mountain Getaway

We had an incredible escape from reality! The house exceeded expectations!!!! Three couples gathered with our pups to celebrate milestone birthdays. Each couple had their own space and the common areas were very comfortable. West Jefferson was quaint and the Ingles grocery store was magnificent. The Old Barn Winery was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We hope to make this a tradition!!!!

Spring - Our Place to Paws

Exceptionally nice, beautiful mountain get-away. Very well equipped with nice amenities throughout. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of common and private spaces both indoors and outdoors for our party of four adults. Great place to go and stay at the cabin, go for a walk and get some real exercise or have a beautiful base to explore NWNC from! Highly recommend!

Awesome mountain home and escape.

The house was amazing! It was so well apportioned, beautifully furnished, comfortable and inviting. We were staying here for a nearby family wedding. We are already looking forward to returning and enjoying the property again and again. The Stay Blue Ridge staff was wonderful to deal with. Any time I had a question, they were quick to respond and very open to communicating. Great to do business with this team.

Perfect In Everyway!

Choose this location for our Thanksgiving retreat as it was half way between our home and my in-laws. The cabin itself photographs lovely but it far more beautiful in person. The home was perfectly clean, spacious, well maintained and immaculate in everyway. Perfect for entertaining and in such a cute, Hallmark like, little city.

Great gathering place!

We were there to attend our daughter’s wedding at the Twickenham House just a short distance away. The cabin homes locality is a private location that is out away from town that offers seclusion, yet close enough if something is needed. Driveway is a bit intimidating at first but manageable. Once inside, we found that the home was clean and well equipped for a large group. The house is spacious, updated, and offers many high-end amenities. Kitchen is fully stocked and a perfect gathering place for large groups. The home provided plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The basement/game room was a hit with our group. It was a bit chilly and windy during out stay, however envisioning the outdoor patio space in warmer weather, having the doors open and enjoying the solitude of the location and beautiful views intrigues us to visit again

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My family and I took our first extended family vacation and chose "Our Place to Paws". We couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in. Anything we thought we needed for our stay was already included. The house and the views were beautiful. The beds slept great and the layout of the house was awesome. We spent most of our time in the game room and had a blast. My only one suggestion is to have a better sign at the road to show where the house was. We missed it the first time, but quickly figured out the location. We hope to be back soon!

Fabulous house

Fantastic house and property. Lots to do for kids (eg, Laser Tag, video game console, ping pong) and adults (pool, darts, karaoke). Had 2 really cold days during our trip but everyone was still happy and watching it snow through the windows with the hot fire in the fire place was a special memory.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My granddaughter stated she wanted to go to the mountains to celebrate her 4th birthday, because she could not have the traditional birthday party due to social distancing. We hunted online for the perfect place to "social distance" and Our Place to Paws fit the bill. Could not think of anything that was overlooked when they stocked this home. We had a memorable experience and we are ready to go back.

This house is just so beautiful. The wood and attention to detail is amazing. Loved the views and all the amenities. We took full advantage of the bar area every day... playing pool, games, arcade games and ping pong. Kitchen is so well stocked (even has a waffle maker, panini press and slow cooker) with anything you need. We cooked every night here and enjoyed the views from the dining room table. Loved the fireplace and sitting drinking coffee by the big windows. Look forward to a summer stay here next time! Definitely will be back!

Perfect Getaway

This property was awesome! Our family of 8 enjoyed the high end amenities and spacious kitchen, living room and game room areas. The house was spotless upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with dish ware and small appliances. We spent a lot of family time cooking and hanging out. The game room was a huge hit. Darts, pool and cards every evening. We enjoyed walking down to the creek and took several walks farther up the mountain. Bonus was we got snow while there!! The driveway scared the heck out of me, but once the ice melted and it was shoveled it was ok. We ended up parking on the road the last two nights. Thank you to the owners and your property management and cleaning service. We will definitely be staying with you again!
