「Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.」

「Every aspect of our stay was extremely lovely. The room and amenities were very spacious and lovely and it was very tastefully decorated. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious and beautifully served. Fransois and Helene were most welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed their 4 truffle hunting dogs. The only thing that would have been more helpful were the directions. The house itself is the first house on the right just after entering through the historic ancient arch into Domme. 「Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families...
