“I love Bear Pause Cabin!! A perfect mountain stay! Peaceful, comfortable, tottaly my rustic vibe, antler, deer decor and cozy! You can walk to town, if your inclined, or free parking down town! The shops are great, and a safari tour during elk rutting is fantastic!! Bear Pause Cabin is in a perfect location! Can't wait to go again!”

“The cottage was clean and well stocked with entertaining items, comfortable beds, and linens. Location was good, close enough to downtown without too much traffic. It might be smaller but the space is laid out perfectly and very cozy. I will definitely keep this location in mind for next time.”

“This house was adorable! We have stayed in so many VRBO's but this one stood out due to all the little touches the owners provided. From the Christmas tree to the holiday decorations in the house, down to the basket of snacks that were provided (I'm talking marshmallows with a picture of the house on them) - the details were amazing! LOVED our stay! Thank you for all the extras - we didn't have to go shopping for toilet paper and dishwasher detergent like normal. This was so appreciated and……

Space heaters kept us plenty warm even in mid October and we were conveniently located within a short drive to downtown Estes and RMNP. The hosts were communicative and left clear instructions for everything! ”
