“We stayed here only for sleep. It's an ordinary hotel located at the outskirt of Caen. Room was clean and cozy, and they supplies breakfast. There's parking lot for guests.(free) And the price was super cheap. Totally recommended if you just want to take a rest from a long drive.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. “Stayed one night in a triple. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom had everything we needed but was not comfortable - no space for toothbrush, no shower curtain or space, looked like some black mold by the shower area because the floor isn't shaped to drain efficiently. The staff were all excellent, extremely helpful.”

“Young and very polite French lady on reception spoke English. Any criticism is our own fault. We paid for the lowest price room which didn’t include air conditioning. Just check you are paying enough for your room to include it if you want it. USB charging ports weren’t available. Top tip though. Most TVs have USB ports which you can use to charge your phones.”

“We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. There appeared to be some water damage and what I assume was black mold in the bathroom. The entire room smelt like mildew. The beds were also quite hard and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. It seemed like the rooms in the main building may be better maintained than the unattached part of the hotel where we stayed. The restaurant for……

“Siamo stati bene, camere silenziose, parcheggio gratuito, macchinetta del caffè in camera, ben collegata con il centro città attraverso il T2 e tanti servizi in zona. Apprezzata la formula del menù al ristorante con buona cucina e prezzi contenuti, non abbiamo avuto necessità di cenare altrove. Unica piccola pecca: ci hanno assegnato la camera disabili e spesso per fare la doccia, il bagno si allagava. Personale molto cortese.”
