Hidden inner city apartment in Launceston

Peacocks on Paterson is a beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment is ideally located in the heart of Launceston City Centre. Offering all modern conveniences, whilst maintaining the properties original integrity. The property is comfortably furnished, with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. 

The open plan kitchen, dining and living, is the perfect space to unwind after a hectic day of exploring the region or a wonderful space to come home to after a busy work day. The modern kitchen, is the perfect place to create gourmet delights made from local Tasmanian produce. However, should you wish to eat out or grab some takeaway, you're truly spoilt for choice, right on your door step. And to make your stay a little more special there is a Nespresso coffee machine, with free coffee pods. Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. Plus the bathroom offers quality toiletries for your enjoyment.

Within walking distance of the apartment is the Queen Victoria Museum, Boags Brewery, Utas Stadium and award winning Harvest Market (on every Saturday morning). If you jump in the car, you're only a short drive to some of Launceston's and surrounding areas local attractions; famous Tamar Valley region, offering world class wine and food; the historic villages of Evandale and Longford; Low Head Pilot Station

There is an adjacent council car-park, but you will need to pay for parking as per council charges. There is no free parking.

Lovely property, great location, all amenities you could require. It does need to be made clear parking costs are additional and sometimes a parking space is not available. Other than that, would highly recommend and would stay again.

Spacious, close to amenities

The spacious suite was very central and walking around in Launceston was very easy to do. Two toilets and modern kitchen. The bedroom closest to the door was a bit noisy with window open, the second bedroom did not have a window. I found the payment and communication not as easy as AirB&B as the Tasmanian VRBO operates as The Accommodation Group, TAG, another company. I had to cancel one night and the refund process involved resubmitting banking details. Refund was issued promptly. I would stay here again.

Central location and clean

Perfectly located to use as a base for wandering to the farmers market and township,also easy to explore further afield. The flat was clean and the bathroom huge! The second loo is a great idea but the fan/light goes on randomly. The back bedroom is not for light sleepers due to carpark noises ( public loos there too) Front bedroom with skylight is very quiet. Lots of steps to carry up luggage up The beds are super comfy and it was great to have wardrobes. We would stay again. Easy codes to get in ( save them in your phone) You will need to pay carparking Thanks for the very excellent communication to the hosts.

Great Location

This apartment is in an ideal position in the Launceston CBD. Surrounded by restaurants and close to shops. There was some traffic noise and constant light from the adjoining carpark, which could be an issue for some people.

Great place in great neighbourhood

Very happy with our stay here. The house was spacious, clean and modern. Check in was easy with the directions sent through, it just took us a few minutes to work out where the entry was at the back behind the shops. The only other issues we had were the clothes iron appeared to be damaged, so we weren't able to use it, and the sensor light and fan for the small bathroom kept switching on and off automatically through the night. Apart from that we were very pleased and would stay here again. The property is in a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby which was a big plus. There are a few stairs required to get up into the property fyi.

Wonderfully central

The location, amenities and overall style make this a special spot. We enjoyed our stay. Only issue is the bedrooms and bathrooms are separated by quite steep stairs and the apartment itself is accessed by yet more of these. May be a problem for the less agile. Otherwise very pleasant and well equipped.
