It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. She greeted us as we arrived and made sure we knew everything about the place and gave us help to find anything else in the city. The room was quite spacious and had an actual King size bed. You absolutely feel like you are going back in time. Would stay again. Also the walk down to the beach is worth the wee 2 minute walk as there are some amazing rounded beach pebbles to collect.”

“This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking.”

“The advertising was very misleading. Expected a B&B with breakfast. When we arrived there was a note on a desk explaining the 2 plastic wrapped croissants and open items in the fridge were the breakfast. Room had a musty smell, bed and pillows are in need of replacement.”
