Excellent facility, location, nice staff, great rooms - anything you can ask for. Discuss with the hotel in advance if you need an elevator- they don’t have one but I am sure they will find ways to accommodate you. Enjoy your trip!

Nice hotel and city on the way to Italy

Nice hotel centrally located in Lauterbach. We arrived Sunday afternoon and had no trouble finding parking outside the hotel. Room was modern and spacious. Self service check in was easy. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, but there are several options very close by in town. We booked a room for 4, but the 2 extra beds were rather uncomfortable camping beds.

Schoenes Haus ohne Service-Gedanke…

Die Réception ist bereits ab 09:15 p.m. nicht mehr besetzt... und wenn man dann klingelt reagiert niemand... ruft man dann an, so wird zwar geoeffnet, jedoch muerrisch mit anschließender Belehrung (an beiden Abenden) ... 'Herzlich Willkommen' geht anders. Pension zum Hotelpreis... das geht in der naeheren Umgebung (Fulda) zu diesem Kurs doch deutlich angenehmer. FB ist allerdings OK u. auch die Themenzimmer sind sehr nett dekoriert. — But Service is far far away from even just fine!

romantisches kleines Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt mit vielen schönen Fachwerkhäusern, unser Zimmer lag im Dach des Fachwerkhauses mit Blick auf das vor dem Hotel vorbeifließende Flüsschen Lauter, leider gibt es das gute und üppige Frühstück am Sonntag nur bis 10.00 Uhr , kein Aufzug

Der angenehmste Platz Deutschlands den ich kenne

immer wieder schön hier zu sein, ich habe in dieser Region bisher noch keine unfreundlichen Menschen erlebt, ob im Hotel oder bei unserem Kunden es ist als wäre man auf einem anderen Planeten. Ich genieße es jedesmal in Lauterbach zu sein.

Romantisches Hotel direkt an der Lauter

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Lauter. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ist traumhaft. Die alten, sehr gut erhaltenen Häuser haben einen besonderen Charme. Das Zimmer war wunderbar gemütlich. Bereits einige Tage vorher wurden wird von dem Hotel angeschrieben und gefragt, ob wir eine Tischreservierung wünschen, da das Restaurant am Wochenende stark frequentiert ist. Super Service!! Gleich bei der Ankunft durften wir aussuchen, ob wir im Restaurant oder im sogenannten "Entennest" essen wollten. Wir entschieden uns für das Entennest. Es hält, was die Homepage verspricht. Das Essen ist hervorragend!! Lokale Spezialitäten wie Beutelches und Kartoffelwurst sind ebenso zu finden wie wunderbare Salate usw. Das Frühstück war toll. Von Brötchen bis hin zu Waffeln, die man selbst ganz frisch zubereiten konnte, war alles mehr als reichlich vorhanden. Ein gelungener Start in einen wunderschönen Tag in dieser tollen kleinen Stadt mit ihren gut erhaltenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das werden wir auf jeden Fall bald wiederholen. Natürlich mit Übernachtung in diesem ausgezeichneten Hotel!
