「The property offers and delivers a charming atmosphere. It is a peaceful serene place that says “relax”. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and taking in the view of the small lake while enjoying the sounds of nature. The cottage is well maintained and we didn’t lack anything. It’s a great place to getaway. The hosts were terrific!!! We just can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay.」

「We had a wonderful time. The cottage was a perfect secluded spot. It was great to see all of the animals and loved our first impression as we drove in the front gate and the beautiful bluebonnets streached out in front of us. It was warem and welcoming! Thank you for having a clean and well equipped cabin. We were gretted Tabby on Friday evening an Saturday morning had to chase off a coyote after him and a orange cat. Glad they are ok.」

「Lovely place to kick back and relax. good location for sight seeing.」

「The home and property were wonderful. The owner was so helpful and friendly prior and through the entire stay. He took time to call us and walk us through the fishing pond and was excited for the boys to fish for the first time. 」

「A wonderfully peaceful retreat in Flatonia. The Geesmans’ property is beautifully maintained, with wildlife and a warm, cozy one-bedroom space. Every detail was thoughtfully considered — from crisp, fresh linens to a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. A place we’d return to without hesitation.」

「Fantastic place to stay! We chose to closeness of areas we wanted to visit, very nice spot to stay and play.」

「Excellent owners. Very conscience about every detail. Very nicely decorated. Comfortable beds, great kitchen cook island area. Beautiful view from windows. Close to town. Wonderful gift of sausage, cheese, and wine which we appreciated because we did not bring or cook food. Just a lovely stay. 」

「The entire trip was amazing. From booking to check in, the stay itself, and check out. Louis was very helpful with all communications and we were even given the option to check in early if we needed. House itself was in great condition and it was perfect for our group of 8. We will definitely stay there in the future.」
