“All was OK, especially the very good swimming pool and the really very nice well kept garden, thanks to the property's dedicated grounds keeper, but the kitchen needs to be restocked with more cooking wares and specially drinking glasses as there were none of these at all..”

“I arrived after midnight and found staff in pajamas sleeping. They had no clue about my reservation even though it was booked 2 weeks ahead of time. I had to find my booking confirmation and show credit card statement of payment. Then i was walked through a dark alley to what could be otherwise considered the "boys quaters". My taxi driver was so scared of leaving me all alone and stayed until i got into my room. It was an ok room, sofa , tv, bed,bathrom, kitchen. I could smell the dust even……

“Firstly, the address advertised as well as the photographs of the accomodation are and is not the address of the actual "hostel. " There is no transportation to the actual address on Jan Smuts rd where you find out that you will be staying UPON ARRIVAL.. The cleanliness of the rooms are at best disgusting. No toilet paper is the tip of the iceberg. There are naked woman walking the halls with numerous "visitors" coming in and out. The owner\manager is impossible to get hold of. Disgraceful.……

“I must same it’s a beautiful place to stay. Has a nice and serene atmosphere with a cozy vibe. If you want a place like home choose Claires of Sandton luxury Guest House. It’s also closer to the American embassy, Mandela Square and the Sandton Mall. I love it here and I know everyone will share the same experience. I will give a 5 star Rating every time ”

“Friendly welcome and wonderful room with a massive bed and delightful view over the golf course. The restaurant was great, would recommend. The only minor letdown was the shower, which needs a replacement shower head, and the plumbing could use some maintenance.”
