“This was a nice little hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately no air conditioning or tea & coffee in the room.”

“The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. ”

“First of all there ir no aircon in the rooms. So be careful. We had very bad experience there. Breakfast was 10 euro p/p. It was OK. Hotel is very far from the city center. I do not stay there again ”

“Lovely big room with very nice bathroom, all tastefully refurbished and very comfortable to a very high standard. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful, suggesting local restaurants and places. Parking easy. A good base to explore local chateau and beaux village. Town itself not that exciting but we had missed the famous farmer market on Wednesday. Breakfast offered but we didn’t take it, but looked nice. Great for an overnight stop on the way to our ferry crossing.”

The host is fluent in 3 languages, the room is perfectly appointed, and the pool and lounge areas are a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was perfectly simple French Village style, and enjoyed best on the patio. If you want to avoid the over priced B and Bs of Giverney, or the cookie cutter hotels of Vernon, this is the place……
