A delightful character farmhouse
The farm house is in a very rural location, we were looking for a quiet situation for our whole family to come together and this was exactly what we hoped for. There really is nothing around you except fields and definitely no neighbouring properties. There was plenty of games for the children and adults to share and even though our first week was very wet everyone had a fantastic time. The rooms were very large so everyone had lots of space, the bedrooms were huge and each had lots of beds although very limited clothes storage. The pool was wonderful as was the outside barn and seating area.
A few extra sun loungers or relaxing chairs would have been a bonus for the sunny days as at times all six adults would have liked to relax by the pool. But the house was excellently equipped in all other ways with plenty of crockery etc. This was good because there were very few restaurants or bars open in the area so we did a lot of cooking. Most were closed for August including the one in the Le Quillio. The nearest shops are a 10mins drive away. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming.
This is a very old property so one should expect slightly temperamental plumbing but it has so much charm and character it is a joy to stay in.
