“The Stampmill is in an old building in downtown Lead, and it has wonderful old woodwork but modern amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife commented that the windows were not double-paned and let some outside noise get through, but it was very minor. The owner was helpful and answered when we texted regarding some supplies needed. Our suite had a living room with TV, a separate bedroom with TV, and a bathroom. There is no separate lot to park in, but we had no trouble finding……

“An amazing oasis in the woods if you're looking for solitude!Definitely follow the recommendation of the listing and have a 4WD vehicle as the driveway is very steep, but it's absolutely worth it. Kim is an amazing host and had good insight as to local activities. ”

“We absolutely loved the location of this property. Who knew South Dakota was this amazing? I watched the turkeys come down fm roost in the morning. I stopped my car as the deer claimed the roads, I was in awe watching the mountain goats nearby, freely grazing. And the views?? UNBELIEVABLE. I get emotional exploring the beauty of our great Country. The memories of this area i will cherish. This jem was great for us and the hosts were amazing. Thanks for sharing your sweet place with us.”
