Disappointed
We actually never got to stay in this lodge. The management company had double booked and the other people got there first. We never saw anything other than the outside of the house. We ended up taking our whole family to a motel while the management company tried some other rentals in the area. We were offered a 3 bed townhouse….less than half of what we booked. We declined. They then offered us a 3 bedroom chalet. This home had no internet, no tv, no operating grill, not enough chairs to have a family meal together and probably the cheapest toilet paper ever made. It took 2-3 weeks before we were even told what this new place was costing us. They gave us a break on the usual rental and apologized. They stated they had investigated the problem and it wouldn’t happen again. I hope not. This was probably the last time we will have the opportunity to be together with all family members as one has a terminal cancer diagnosis. How sad that we had to get treated the way we did. But we made the best of it and treasured every moment we got to be together.

We encountered a water problem on this property; however, the staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism by swiftly providing us with an alternative solution. They not only answered their phones but also responded promptly late at night to assess the effectiveness of the proposed solutions. While some of our plans were temporarily disrupted, we understand that unforeseen property issues can arise. Our group truly appreciated the owner's proactive approach to resolving the situation and their willingness to be accessible when we needed them most. This level of dedication and responsiveness speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this property once more in the future, as our overall experience left us with a positive impression and a sense of confidence in their management.
