There are both positives and negatives about this property. Positives: large rooms, generally well appointed kitchen, large TV in every room. Negatives: major room, kitchen, living room, master bedroom are up 22 steps, worn shag carpet, general lack of maintenance, very soft master bed, limited and worn outside furniture, total of eight clothes hangers among three bedroom closets, air conditioning could not keep the living room kitchen area cool during the day because of large area an lots of windows, terrible roads on way to house

Sturgis Motor Cycle Rally

Very Nice house/Cabin very clean. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful view from the Balcony next time we visit South Dakota we would definitely consider this house again.

Great place!!

The cabin was very nice. Everything was clean and ready for us when we showed up. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are nice. Hot tub was a plus after our long days side by siding. Would stay here again!

Quick couples getaway

Property was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful location. When we had an issue with the hot tub, property manager came right out and fixed it. The BBQ grill worked great, fantastic accommodations. The only issue was we couldn't fully shut 2 of the windows. Not an issue right now as the weather was beautiful. Made the manager aware of it and they will fix it promptly I'm sure. Very nice stay, would come back again.

We had a nice time

Everything was as expected. The neighborhood is at elevation and has views and steep roads and turkeys in the yard. If ATVing, the property could accommodate a small to medium trailer. I parked mine at a friends campground since its a 30 footer.

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved our time at the Westwind cabin. It had everything we needed and felt like home. Great location if you plan to go to Terry Peak.

Great location if you're going to Terry Peak!

Beautiful Cabin up in the hills! This property is located at the bottom of a hill but everything was plowed and shoveled. The property is part of the Deadwood Connections/ Gilded Cabins so you get access to the Gilded Cabin Clubhouse. We didn't get a chance to try it out but the option is very cool! The cabins description said minimal or basic dishes but it did have 3 coffee pots including a kerig & 3 crockpots! Those would be nice to know so we don't waste space packing a crockpot lol The only things I was unhappy with was shower curtains were grimy & no instructions on the hot tub & TVs. Hot tub went cold by day 2 & we couldn't figure out how to raise the temperature. Upstairs Tvs were confusing & lots of controls. Took a long time to figure out. Will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises & definitely recommend this place. So cozy!

Great stay

We had a great stay. Hot tub would not heat up first night there. We contacted management and it was fixed the next morning. Would book again.
