The cabin was exceptionally clean. Easy access to the bathroom/shower. Overall, a very nice experience.

Foul smell in shower house.
The shower house smelled so foul it was unusable. It was very bad the first day, but i just covered my nose and delt with it, the second day it got considerably worse and i could not breathe without wretching, it smelled of open sewage. This meant using the restroom was not doable, much less taking shower

My question is "if the smell was so bad, why did you not report it immediately so something could be done about it"? Instead, you decided to wait until you left to leave a poor review? My comment is that we clean the shower house daily, so we know what it looks and smells like daily. It was likely due to someone before you. A good practice, when you stay anywhere is to report anything that seems wrong or broken. That allows the property the opportunity to address the issue. I just ran out to the shower house (I don't usually do the cleaning) and it smells like cleaner. We also offer rooms and cabins with bathrooms (Listed under Whitetail Creek Resort) for those that don't want to use a shower house.

The gal at the front desk was very nice and had everything all ready on check in , cute rooms and very comfortable bed. Brookelyn you are doing a great job!

There's a little creek that ran feet from my porch you could see the trout eating bugs.

Charming place to stay
We had such a great stay here and for such a great price! We stayed in one of the red little cabins. They do not have electricity or a bathroom in the cabin, but the hosts provided everything they can to make your stay comfortable. There is a shared bathroom just a short walk up stream and it is kept very clean. The property is absolutely charming! My 5 year old daughter just LOVED playing in the beautiful stream that runs the length of the property. I would definitely stay here again!

I liked everything about this place. The owners are the most caring and friendly folks that I have ever encountered in my travels and I have did a lot of traveling in my 86 years. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Cost is overpriced for a "standard cabin" as it is quite literally a small shed with mattresses. Room amenities is deceiving as it states it has a bathroom but the restroom was a shower house across the dark parking lot. Both (battery operated lights - a wall light switch and small lantern) were flashing on/off and between brightness's. We didn't stay overnight but instead paid $20 more for a room a mile away with an actual bathroom, two queen beds, electricity. Maybe the other options are better but the cost for a "standard cabin" should be little more than what you would pay for a camping spot not what is being charged.

You made a reservation for a Standard Camping Cabin with full, accurate description and pictures available. You also knew what you were paying for it when you made the reservation. I'm not sure why there was a surprise about anything. They are very popular because they are very inexpensive, and very clean. Re: the bathroom, the description states "shared bathroom" (shower house). The pictures show there is no bathroom in the camping cabin. We have 10 different accommodations at our property from the Standard Camping Cabin (least expensive accommodation in the area, up to motel rooms with multiple beds, full kitchens, and patios.

We Loved This Place!
This place was all of our kid’s (ages 10-16) favorite stay on our 3 week road trip across America. The owners were professional yet warm and welcoming. The whole resort was well kept and very clean. The environment was unbelievably relaxing & beautiful. We stayed in their yurts which were very cool. We loved every minute we were there.
