  • Summary:
    Our coziest Tiny House in Tiny House Leadville. Rudy is warm, welcoming and rustic comfortably sleeping 3. The kitchenette has a propane stove, apartment sized fridge, toaster, coffee maker and more so that you have all the amenities of home. Bathroom has a stall shower and flushing toilet. We are in downtown Leadville; easy walk to restaurants, bars, shops and events. Try a tiny house today! We have WiFi but the connection is iffy and not guaranteed. Pets Not Allowed

    The Space:
    Enjoy your own tiny house while on vacation in Leadville. The house is located in a tiny house park. Each house is equipped with a kitchenette, full bath and sitting area. Pets Not Allowed. Please see our other houses for pet friendly accommodations.

    Guest Access:
    Self check-in at 3pm. Door code is emailed and texted 11am the day of arrival and activates at 3pm check-in time.

    The Neighborhood:
    Located in downtown Leadville, 1 block from Harrison Avenue. You can walk to restaurants and shops. If you enjoy outdoor activities, you can bring your bike.

    Getting Around:
    You can walk to restaurants and shops. If you enjoy outdoor activities, Leadville has lots to offer. A car is helpful to get to most hiking trails. Or you can bring your mountain bike and take a ride on the mineral belt trail.

    Other Things to Note:
    Tiny houses have smaller water tanks than a normal house. We suggest taking short showers if your group plans to shower one after the other. House has limited electricity - please do not run a hairdryer and the microwave or it may trip the breaker in your tiny house.

Too Old For. Tiny House

I’m someone that years ago was perfectly comfortable sleeping in a snow cave or a bicycle sack on the side of a mountain, but that was years ago. I liked the tiny house concept and thought I would give a try. Probably would have been fine 20-30 years ago, but I think I am too old and stiff to enjoy staying in cramped quarters. Nothing wrong with the house, just not a good fit for me.

Burro racing in Leadville

We planned to come to boom days primarily to see the burro race. We had a great stay and got to see and learn alot about Leadville. Weather was fantastic, scenery was beautiful. Boom days was fun!

Great Little Stay

Used as base for MTB riding. Location is perfect to walk to Downtown shops. Everything worked and it was very clean on arrival. Parking right in front is perfect.

It was a very nice experience. The house was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing was the fitted sheet on the mattress was too small so it wouldn’t stay in place while we slept.

Hiking weekend

Cute little house with all the necessities. The loft has a low clearance for the tall folks but we made it work. It was great to be within walking distance of most of what Leadville has to offer.

Perfect for being close to your loved one

Rudy is super clean and super cozy. Two small space heaters are enough to keep it as warm as you like. We stayed over during a solid Colorado snowstorm and were very comfortable. You'll need to be a little creative utilizing space, and it helps to be agile for getting to the loft, but those challenges come with tiny homes. We easily prepared our meals and enjoyed the coziness after our days of Nordic skiing. We look forward to staying at #tinyhomesleadville again soon!
