We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The sunset views were absolutely stunning, with the cottage located right on a private and peaceful beach—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The newly renovated interior felt fresh and modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also very comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for a family vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery and cozy accommodations.

Fabulous getaway weekend

The location is amazing and we enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The home is very clean and the kitchen well stocked.Although the homes are very close together along this road, it was incredibly quiet - we did not see or hear any of the neighbours. Megan is very responsive and we would certainly stay here again!

Beautiful Spotless Lakefront near Point Pelee

Amazing place - brightly remodeled, and Impeccably clean and furnished. Stayed 3 nights with 2 other couples, spent most of day in the park then returned here for carryout and to relax. Made one meal here, kitchen well stocked. About 10min walk to park, perfect for our birding trip. Can't wait for next year!

The owners of this property are wonderful. The fridge wasn't working due to a power outage. They came to check things out within 20 minutes and had the fridge running within a couple of hours. Super friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. It would be nice to have a shower in the main bathroom. And also it would be helpful to have a lamp and mirror in the basement bedroom but overall it was excellent.

Lovely, clean cottage

This cottage has all the amenities needed for a family vacation where you can cook meals in and it’s close to wineries and restaurants to go out. The national park is within walking distance and the ferry is not far away. Great stay, enjoyed by everyone.

Loving Leamington

Came to visit Pelee national park and stayed at a fabulous cabin on Lake Erie. This updated cabin has a subtle artsiness. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Hosts were very accommodating and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place. I personally plan to return

Amazing view inside out - joy joy joy

Love the awesome views of the lake from family room or dining area. Relax while looking at sunset on the deck or 2nd floor balcony when outside. And love love love the master bedroom - spacious tub, floor to ceiling windows and nice touch with yoga mat. You set the bar high for cottage stay.

Weekend Getaway

This property offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Outside receives sunlight from dawn to dusk, and access to water. There are so many windows to provide natural sunlight and an amazing view of the water. You don’t have to leave the property to have a fulfilled weekend. However, there are many things to do in the area as well.

Lovely home, great location!

The property is lovely, clean, and welcoming. We loved being so close to Pelee National Park and the sound of the waves along the beach. Mike was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again and again. :)

Perfect Escape

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and birders, and our stay at this property was nothing short of outstanding. The interior was impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation, making it easy to enjoy homemade meals. The sunset views from the property were breathtaking, and we especially loved spending our evenings by the charming outdoor fire pit. This location exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

It was a home away from home!

Megan and Mike are terrific hosts! Upon arrival we noticed the property was well maintained and the interior was spotless and modern. We had only one issue with a ceiling fan that didn't turn on. We called Mike, who returned our call promptly, and worked with us to figure out the problem. The home has plenty of cooking and room necessities to be comfortable away from home. I would 100% recommend the hosts and this property for a comfortable stay!

Between the gorgeous decor, privacy and proximity to Point Pelee National Park, this property is indeed a bit of "paradise" - my husband, myself, our teenage daughter and senior mother enjoyed our early July visit immensely.Mike and Megan were very responsive to our (minor) inquiries and their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on. Great hosts!The property is absolutely spotless and soothingly decorated, with an unreal view of the waterfront from the living and dining rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional, and the bedrooms were comfortable (great patio off the principle suite!) with nice separation for privacy.The outdoor space on the water is small but there is enough space to hang out; the sun loungers were especially appreciated. It may be difficult for the very young and those with mobility issues to climb the breakwall ladder to directly access the water.We brought our paddleboards and were able to tip them over the wall easily - the access to the water is much appreciated, especially when the lake is warm and shallow enough to enjoy a swim whenever you'd like!The property is very close to Point Pelee National Park, which is why we booked. We rented bikes (quite affordably) and took several cruises through the park with our teenager - there is little traffic in the area. I can also envision biking into Leamington -- hopefully next time!Just a head's up that the area is buggy in July - bring lots of repellent!

11/10 – Our Favourite VRBO Stay!

This was our second time staying at this incredible VRBO, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first! We visited for Family Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect in every way.1. The View: The view of Lake Erie is breathtaking. In winter, with the lake frozen far out, the landscape looks both desolate and stunning—something truly special to wake up to every morning.2. Point Pelee National Park: Visiting in the off-season was a dream—no crowds, just peaceful trails and plenty of wildlife, including so many wild turkeys! It felt like having the park to ourselves.3. The Kitchen: We love to cook, and this kitchen is a dream! Fully stocked with everything needed for meal prep, perfectly laid out, and so easy to use. We made all our meals at home, even coming back from the park each day for a hot lunch.4. The Hosts: Mike and his team go above and beyond. Mike called the day before we arrived, worried about us driving in the forecasted snowstorm. While we were on route, he texted to say he had salted the steps but reminded us to be careful. Then, the next morning, he showed up and snowblowed everything! The care and attention to detail are unmatched.We would rate this 11/10 if we could. This place is officially our go-to spot, and we already can’t wait to come back!

Misrepresentation of property

The cottage pictures INSIDE are exactly as shown on the listing. The cottage itself is beautiful - magazine setting. However there are only blinds on some of the windows. The master bedroom has a wall of windows and door with no blinds, the upstairs second bath has a half moon window with no blind and the downstairs window is glass block with no blinds. Be prepared to be up with the sun. The owner could spend $100 and cover all windows to solve this problem. The second major issue is that the water is not two feet down from the yard as the owner described to me in a very lengthy conversation before I booked the property. I told him we were bringing a six year old and he assured me the water was fine and only a small two feet below the sea wall ladder. This was a blatant lie as the water is easily 6-8 feet down on a very difficult ladder. As a result we were never able to use the beach. Which is also a misrepresentation as the picture shown on the listing shows barely any rocks - there are full boulders and rocks so there is NO beach at all. When I spoke with Mike he assured me he had a six year old and a smaller child who swam in the water all the time. I asked about the undertow being Lake Erie and he said it wasn't bad at all, not like Port Stanley. However when we met him on Sunday at check-in he told me he would never let a child near that water without a life jacket and would never swim there. I was so shocked by this I didn't say a thing - I couldn't actually believe he had led us so astray. If he had been honest - because this was our main objective of the trip - we would have booked elsewhere. If you are looking for a beautiful cottage and no real access to water or beach - then this is a terrific place - but if you want a family vacation where the kids can walk out the door to the beach - look somewhere else. We cut our vacation short by two nights as a result of running out of things to do and were tired of travelling by car to other areas to use the water and the water toys we brought with us. I just don't understand why he was dishonest on the phone when we initially spoke to book the cottage. Very disappointed.

Close to Point Pelee

The property was immaculate but missing some amenities—no bedside tables or lamps, no dresser or suitcase valet and not enough hangers. We lived out of open suitcases on the floor for near 2 weeks. The water was scalding hot and there were no grab bars for the jacuzzi. I let the owner know all this.

Mini getaway

We had an excellent stay at this property! We had a minor incident when we first arrived but Mike responded immediately & went above & beyond to rectify the situation. The cottage was spotless-tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The lake view was so relaxing. Bed, linens & furniture all high end & very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay with family including 5 year old toddler & 11 month old baby.

The property is as shown in the pictures. Very beautiful location, sound of waves, sunset - overall an amazing experience. The house was very well cleaned, we appreciate the attention to detail by the owners example the books were suitable for every different personality, a board game was kept too to enjoy. Definitely will come back here.

Mike & Megan were lovely hosts! The beach house was stunning and kept very clean. It had a lovely view of the sunset and a cozy fire pit for the late nights. Mike was very responsive and helpful with anything and everything and did his best to make sure you enjoyed your stay! Appreciate the hospitality they showed us during our stay.
