“House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you! ”

“The stay was great ! When we arrived it was right after the heavy rains that had some flooding that affected the dock access, but receded within a day. The home was is great order. We were informed of everything before arrival and chose to stay anyway ! The place is very nice and cozy, caretakers were very nice and accommodating with all that was happening at the time of our visit. Beautiful sunsets off the dock every evening. We will be back very soon !!”

“We love this property!! We’ve been coming here for a car event for the last 2 years and i swear we look forward to coming to this house as much as the car event at VIR! Such a wonderful home and the grounds are up kept so well. the lake is just stunning and just wonderful to take a dip in or cruise along on the paddle boards! Can’t wait to come back again! PS- the owners are the best! we had an unexpected delay and they helped us out with the process with extending our stay!!”

“We stayed at Cottage on the Cove the first week of July, 2025. The property was lovely. All the bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Everyone had a blast witht he pingpong table, games and swimming. We had a few very hot days, however Tunnel Creek Winery was 13 minutes away, as well as antique shops, and restaurants.
