「Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.」

「We were impressed with all aspects of the house and pool. Very well stocked with kitchen, bath and pool essentials. 「Chika is a very gracious and communicative host! She was also accommodating and super friendly. The home itself fit the needs of our group for a one-night stay. 「The room was so warm and welcoming. Soft music playing when we entered offered a tranquil atmosphere. Supplies for roasting marshmallows and a Keurig with plenty of coffee was a nice touch. 「We arrived to find no area to park. Area was terrible ! Every other home had surveillance cameras and beware of dogs signs. Neighborhood had litter strewn all about. 「The place was nice and neat with all modern finishes. The two bedrooms had nice large beds with tvs and the kitchen was nice and new. The owner lives upstairs and lives there so being aware of the living situation is important but if you’re looking for a great view, location and place to stay that’s quiet and well appointed, this is it!」
