Relaxing mom getaway

This cabin was peaceful and relaxing. Wildlife right outside to watch with morning coffee excellent view very cozy yet spacious, clean, well stocked, the hosts and caretaker are considerate and thoughtful. Our stay was everything that was promised and more.

Great relaxing weekend!

The cabin was perfect for our long weekend and very tranquil and relaxing. It’s much larger than it looks in pictures and has everything you could need. We would love to come back in the summertime!

Amazing experience

Mike and I stayed up here for my birthday weekend with our dog and it was such a beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake!! 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful peaceful home on lake

This property was absolutely beautiful. The homes open concept with cathedral ceilings are gorgeous. The lake view from the bedroom upstairs is so relaxing. More than i imagined. We will definitely be back to enjoy this property and all the lake has to offer. The hosts are amazing as well.

Perfect getaway

It was a beautiful view , along with it being spotless and clean I’d stay 1000 x over again . Communication was amazing , and it felt like home . Literally everything listed was accurate . We only had to buy groceries.

Beautiful Location

The host was absolutely wonderful! We had a wonderful time the house was awesome and our pups had a great time. And the fishing was great! Will definitely be booking this house again it was the best time 😁😁😁 and close to shopping.

Fantastic Stay

For us, a dream come true! Beautiful place, lots of windows, high ceiling, great kitchen, right on the lake, use of canoes and kayaks, evening sounds of loons, pet friendly! Wonderful!

Great spot!

Really well stocked house right on the lake (and dog friendly!). Neighbors weren’t too close and the fishing was A+. If it wasn’t already booked I’d try to grab another weekend this summer - two nights wasn’t enough!

Feels like being home

House is very warm and welcoming. Has everything you could possibly need. Daisy had fun exploring the thicket and woods. I loved that James provided a cable to hook her on if needed, dog beds and bowls are also provided. Very dog friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Great getaway for sportsmen!

We went for an ice fishing getaway to the surrounding lakes. Found this house and I am glad we did. It has a nice open concept with cathedral ceilings. Very inviting and laid back feel. It provided everything we were looking for during our stay.

Good and relaxing weekend away

My fiancée and I had a great relaxing time by the lake over the Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin is large, comfortable and very well equipped. The only downside was the cleanliness, we thought the cabin could benefit from a heavy cleaning overall.

Beautiful little getaway

James provided my friend and I with the perfect accommodations for a long weekend getaway! Checkin was very easy, the house was clean, and everything was very thoughtful. The kitchen was so well stocked with cookware and all of the small appliances (coffeemaker, toaster oven, air fryer, slow cooker, you name it). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We LOVED the quadruple sliding glass doors that let us lounge in the living room but still feel connected to the outdoors! Plus the grill, fire pit, and canoe - we had an amazing, relaxing time and would absolutely stay here again

Hidden Gem!

This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!

Fabulous House on the Lake

Beautiful home. Perfectly picturesque! Serene. Lovely. Right on the lake. Sounds of loons! Our family and dogs love this place and really appreciate the kindness of the owner in giving others the opportunity to enjoy his gorgeous lake house!!! Maine paradise

Did not communicate with homeowners. Based rating on others. Home as stated in listing. Listing does not justify the property. The lake just outside your door, with a million dollar view. Its what most would like to see every morning with their coffee! Found it easily and will recommend to anyone that wants a little piece of Maine's paradise.

Absolutely fabulous lake house!

Beautiful location - even better than the pictures. The house is roomy and comfortable. The little extras were lovely (wine and blueberry coffee). Everything you need is provided except your food! We canoed, kayaked, hiked and enjoyed the views and the provided entertainment inside the house (movies, foosball, board games and video games). We enjoyed cooking out on the grill. We loved hearing and seeing loons daily. I wholeheartedly recommend this lake house. The owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Ringing in 2024

My husband and I had a great time spending New Years in the quiet of Maine. Our stay was everything we had hoped. The house was clean, well supplied and you can’t beat the views. We especially enjoyed taking our dog with us. We love that the owners are animal lovers and their needs were considered just as much as the humans. I can not recommend this place enough and hope to return maybe at a warmer time of year to enjoy the deck and the lake. Although frozen over was a winter wonderland and very beautiful.
