Lovely cottage on a lake that is great for kayaking and canoeing. The dock is great for water access (including swimming).

We had an awesome time at the Black Rapids Retreat. Our family loved having the private dock on the lake to fish & swim. We especially enjoyed being able to take the canoe out. The hosts were so accommodating and wonderful with communication.

Great stay in Thousand Islands

Beautiful property that was beyond our expectations. We enjoyed using amenities such as the campfire pit, canoe and backyard deck.

Great place to relax and more

We spent a week relaxing on the dock, enjoying the water and the outside eating area. The cabin has everything you need and allows you to cook like you are at home using the full kitchen. The water is deep and there are fish to catch right off the dock. Conditions are good for swimming, paddle boards and use of the canoe. There is some traffic on the road but not much, even on the holiday weekend. We really enjoyed it!

Great location

Lovely cottage in a great location. Hosts were very communicate, though I could not access the instruction manual for the cottage online although they sent me the links. The electrics blew a few times, but very quickly sorted, with the hosts help. Excellent stay, would recommend.

Girls weekend

We were 4 ladies looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors and this was the perfect place. Amazing location and incredible views of the water. House was neat and inviting. The house was the best stocked house I have ever stayed in. Super easy for arrival and departure and the hosts we there if we needed them. We would love to come back next year.

Perfection for Purpose

We came in for a course that we were taking. The hosts answered all my questions within a reasonable time line. The accommodation were perfect for our needsz We loved the organization of the cupboards. It appealed to our compulsive minds. It was well appointed and easy to find everything we needed. We just wish we could have enjoyed the outside more. (Weather and time constraints were not on our side)
