「Great house! We had an 11 month old, and 9 adults and all slept comfortably. The 11 month old slept upstairs and no one could hear her when she cried overnight/early in the morning. All the beach extras and towels were very nice to have. The host was responsive to questions asked. 100% would stay again! 」

「Kitchen had everything we needed and fascinating retro/vintage dishware. The place is on a beautiful circle drive (where I happened to learn to drive 45 years ago!) The location is proximal to all the best things in Leelanau County. Jeff was very communicative before and during the trip, very easy to reach. 」

「Perfect location. Cozy and rustic home with only one other cottage on the road. Very private. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the side screened in porch.」

「My family and I had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect for long strolls on the beach and incredible star-gazing at night. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we left feeling rested and rejuvenated. We hope to be back!」

「Our stay at Grandma's house was as nice as you could ask for.TIm, our host, was super friendly, unobtrusive per our wishes, but readily available if needed. Comfy beds, comfy living areas, nice yard and deck. Tucked into the woods so it was peaceful and quiet.Very close to town but with a rural feel to go with it.The house was well stocked with linens, games, kitchen essentials--whatever you might need. We were even provided with bacon, toast, and eggs in the fridge for our first morning's...

「Great place. Plenty of amenities. A bit of a hike down and up the stairs to the beach so not convenient got anyone with knee issues. Close to town, wineries and golf. Beds are great. Lots of beds. Lacks a few kitchen essentials and WiFi not great so don’t expect to work.Host was very attentive.We would stay again.」

「This cottage was the perfect location in downtown Empire with walking distance to the Friendly and the Empire Beach! We loved the fenced in back yard for fires with our pup. The perfect place for a long weekend!」

「The house was perfect for our Mother’s Day trip. It was four girls and we slept comfortably. The house location was walking distance to everything we wanted to see in town! The beach was done the road as well. Will definitely stay here again! 」

「We rented this house as a way to celebrate our daughter's first birthday with some special friends who have become like family. We loved that there were plenty of beds, four full bathrooms and enough space to enjoy a meal and time on the beach. The water is a little rocky so I would recommend bringing some Teva sandals if you have them. 」
