“The house was a good stay for a family of four. Two bedrooms, but each parent took a kid and it was fine. Backyard would have been fine for them if it hadn't rained. Tub/shower worked fine for them. Good place to stay.”

“We stayed three nights while visiting family in the area. From the time of reservation through checkout, the hosts could not have been more thoughtful and easily reached. There were only two of us so the first floor had everything we needed. As an older person I appreciated the accessibility of the first floor. Note that this is a vintage home so steps are steep both to the upstairs and basement (where a lovely second bathroom is located). The bed was comfortable, hot tub a big plus, and……

“We loved our 10 day stay while we visited family in La Porte. The house is quaint, cozy, and beautiful. We are picky about cleanliness and it definitely met our standards. The hosts were awesome and even came over within an hour to check on a maintenance concern. The layout is a bit unique (fridge in laundry/mud room and small second bath that is away from bedrooms), but we managed just fine even with a full house. “The young lady who checked us in was very kind. We dropped in last minute after we mucked up our initial reservation and she was more than accomodating. The room and property are lovely and we had a lovely stay, as short as it was. I would highly recommend anyone coming through the area give this location a shot!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs bedrooms are very large. The kitchen is modern. The basement has a huge media room with four luxury couches and a big-screen TV. The house is right on the lake and the shared dock is nearby. We really enjoyed taking walks at night along the peninsula. Be aware that the house is on a small rise and there is a climb up stairs to either the front or the back (which is less steep). Only issue was the cleanliness of the front porch. It had not been cleaned……
