"If you are looking for an historic, unique property, this restored ballroom fits the bill, meshing perfectly with historic Marietta. The property is perfectly located, all the shops and restaurants in downtown Marietta are within walking distance. The property is clean and well-appointed, and Maxx was a great host. We plan on returning in the future."

"Beautiful hotel, great location but small room especially the bathroom for two people. The front desk were hard to find and not especially friendly or helpful."

"Very nice property. Our bathroom door was either closed or wide open. We wanted a “night light” for the bathroom but had to leave the light on around the mirror. Threw a lot of light into the bedroom. I think the door needed adjusting. Traffic noise was very obvious even on the 4th floor. Other than that, everything was very good, including nice selections for breakfast. Our second stay at this property. Good location."

"When you're in the middle of renovations, it would be good to indicate that somewhere. Instead I walked into a hotel that had no ice, little vending, no equipment in the fitness room, and only one of two elevators functioning. The first room I was placed in should NOT have been an option because it had no coffee maker, tissues, soap, alarm clock, phone, USB port, or batteries in the remote. They have a list of rooms being renovated, but I got put in one anyway. I got moved into a second room after midnight. It was an improvement, but still did not have an alarm clock or USB post anywhere."
