"Lovely cottage, well equipped, very quiet, peaceful rural setting (apart from the sheep!) . Very comfortable beds, accommodation generally, with Launde Abbey an easy walk away, and quiet lane access to Oakham, Rutland Water and Uppingham. A delightful, restful setting and excellent facilities with welcome pack on arrival. Lovely weather a bonus! "

"Fabulous little place, in an idyllic location. Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is charming and has everything you need....including kitchen and bathroom facilities. The addition of horses, pigs, and chickens and ducks on site was a bonus, and being greeted by the farm dogs every day was lovely. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating (we had to change our dates at the last moment) and are really friendly. Definitely looking forward to staying again."

"The horses cab was very cute and well designed, spotless and cosy.Very relaxing place, the views of waking upIn the morning with the horses are amazing. Also have pigs, a little pony that is very friendly and trots around in the open. Owners were friendly polite and very helpful on call with anything you needed help with. Even had a lovely wood fire whilst watching the stars. Recommend highly for a relaxing weekend break. Will be going back forSure. Thank you"

"To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. The maintenance of the place is shocking and...

"Great comunication from the owners.It was very clean and a nice place to stay - the decoration was nice too. Its got good tranportation links and is close to shops. Its also only a short walk away from nottingham trent university."

"Exceptionally clean. I would describe it as a patio rather than a balcony. Lovely and quiet . Cooking facilities are good Extremely comfortable bed . It really is a place where one can completely relax. It could have benefitted from a clothes rail and a set of drawers but would definitely recommend and would happily stay there again"

"The place is clearly a newly rennovated farm building, perhaps to the extent of being a re-build on an existing foot print. It looks like there might end up being around 8 rental properties on site. The kitchen is well laid out, and whilst there was pleny of stuff for the three of us, I think a few top-ups might be in order if this is really intended for 4-6 people. Hot water is through a tank, so limited in quantity - there was just enough for showers (in the small downstairs bathroom) but one...
