「We were very comfortable in this lovely, quiet home. Everything we needed was supplied. The bed was comfy and there was a well-equipped workout room. The location was about a 45 min. drive to Hilo, given the Merrie Monarch festival traffic. There were many things we wanted to do from the Pahoa location but we were there during a period of very heavy rains so instead we had indoor Hilo fun. 「This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!」

「We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor patio. Rocking on the chairs to decompress after a busy travel day was perfect. I personally loved the outdoor shower but it was not private - you share it with another unit. Hosts were great and lovely people. Their dogs are so sweet and gentle! They location is a bit of a drive from the main roads to Hilo but excellent access to volcano national park. The unit had everything we could need. Great stay.」
