There were a few things left behind from the previous renter, which is why I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness. The porch was my favorite part of the house. Morning coffee while staring at the ocean was great. The area in front of the house is a great spot for shelling. I found 4 sea biscuits on one of my morning walks. We had a wonderful time and would rent again if given the opportunity.”

There was an issue with the new air conditioning unit that had just been installed prior to our arrival, but the owner Leah lives on the island and had arranged for window units and repair while we were there. “This is a great property to have family or friend time. Spacious and very clean. Large kitchen and open concept to have a nice time. Plenty of bathrooms so there’s no rush to prepare for your day. Communication with the property manager was prompt and caring. I would most definitely bring my family back. ”

“We enjoyed the house. The porch is nice in the mornings to watch the sun come up. The cookware needs to be updated. Our food kept sticking to the pans even with grease and butter. This caused us to eat out more than we planned. We let Bullard Realty know about the pans, and they said they appreciated me telling them. Other than that it was a nice stay. If you go eat, shop, or go to the boardwalk on Carolina Beach, be prepared to pay for parking just about everywhere you go. $25 a day to go to……

“The Little Blue Cottage was the perfect get away for ringing in the new year. The location was within walking distance to the beach and many local eateries. Places that required a drive were all a short distance away. The cottage was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, clean linens, immaculate throughout. Joe and Michelle are very conscientious about what their guest may need upon arrival as well as the first few days of their visit. I would definitely recommend anyone enjoying some……
