Location is best part about this house - House is walking distance to the beautiful beach of Lake McConaughy, boat rentals, and the one of a kind Lakefront Express Restaurant. The restaurant serves breakfast burritos in the morning and authentic Chinese food, pho noodle soup and home made ice cream to die for. A full size beach volley ball court and kids playground are also just steps away. The house also includes a high speed wifi, laundry room, game room, deck, central a/c, parking and shuttle service to the beach with appointments. All linens, towels and blankets are included. Great location. Friendly owner. Rundown property.
The location of the property and the property owner are the two best parts about this rental. The property owner was accommodating for an early check-in and a late check out since the weekend we chose was rainy. The property is very rundown, including torn screens or missing screens altogether so you can’t open the windows but in the few windows that did have screens. Dead bugs were in all windowsills, which we wiped out. Smacked flies and mosquitoes on the walls with cobwebs throughout. It needs a serious deep clean!

Great Place for Families!
Cutest little shop/restaurant/ice cream store next door. The property was very spacious and had some fun games for the kids! This lake is fabulous and the property is right by where (in my opinion) the best beach access points are. Cooking utensils are hit or miss, so you might want to pack things you know you'll need if you're cooking in. Check-in was super easy! Would definitely recommend.
