  • Small space but has everything you need... like a hotel room. You are "nestled in the trees" on the deck, in a nice wooded setting. Make this your getaway for some time alone, or as a couple. Relax in the outdoors, and enjoy the waterfall feature. This is a studio space of 115 sf. Photos are from all seasons. Open first day of Spring through Thanksgiving, closed in Winter. No cleaning fee.

Exactly as described. Was a perfect stay while in town for a baseball game. Treehouse was exactly as described, very clean, quiet, all the amenities, simple check in/out. 10/10 would stay again.

Comfy and clean!

We loved this property! My friend and I attended a training in De Soto and this was a much better option over a hotel. Beautiful landscapes guided as we drove to this peaceful abode. It had everything we needed to relax and unwind.

Everything was perfect. Not far from the city. Beautiful property and private.

This was one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Beautiful area and clean place with everything you need plus personal touches that made it even better. I will definitely stay here again. The host was very friendly and accommodating. 5 stars.

Wonderful getaway

This was a gem of a place… So adorable, so clean - the space that they had was utilized extremely efficiently. The owners were lovely and even had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, ready… Absolutely will stay here again and when encourage anybody else to do so. The outdoor deck and water feature were so relaxing at night…

Treehouse

My wife and I drove in for the NASCAR race in Kansas City. This place was amazing, beautiful view, quiet, and a short drive to anything around Kansas City. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again sometime. The Treehouse was better than pictures and I would recommend this treehouse to anyone looking for a cool place to stay.

Very clean and cozy! Power briefly went out while we were there (not host's fault) and the host graciously kept us updated on when it would be back! Very nice if you're looking to curl up with someone special for a getaway.

Aviation travel

I stayed for 3 consecutive nights during flight training at nearby airport. Perfect alternative to any hotel. Easy to find and exactly as described. Bob sent all information promptly and was more then willing to keep the drinks and snacks full! Will certainly stay again if in the area.

Small piece of paradise

Greg and I had a wonderful time in the treehouse and are only regret was not being able to stay longer. The bed was super comfortable, great shower and all the amenities you can imagine. We were so cozy and it has everything you need for a stay. We visited Kaufman Stadium for a Royals game. Great neighborhood, pretty scenery and I would love to come back!

Tree house get away

Came to KS from Iowa to visit family. This was a perfect place very clean and accommodating. The cat was the hostess with the Mostess! We loved her! Loved the waterfall and all of the trees! We had an exceptional experience. Thank you so much.

Short & sweet

Treehouse was neat, a little small in the bathroom. The only thing that would've made it better would be a fire pit to cook over & enjoy a campfire & a grill of some sort. Felt very welcoming and very clean. Even though it stormed and I was a little nervous, all was fine, waterfall was very serene and I loved the deck as well as the bedding. The pillows and mattress were comfyand the fresh smelling bedding was fabulous and the homemade treats really hit the spot when we got there after a long trip.

Personal Retreat

I booked this property to get away from the office to do some long-term business planning. I needed a place away from distractions so that I could focus. This property was perfect for what I needed. The deck is set up in the trees for a beautiful outdoor working space. It was particularly helpful to have a counter height ledge with chairs for a place to put my laptop and notebooks. The lanterns at night were nice touch. The setting was serene and beautiful, and there was a lot of places to walk on the roads surrounding the property (there was very little traffic). It’s a very cozy space inside, so I’m glad the weather cooperated so that I could be outside for the full day I spent there. The owner left snacks and drinks, including some homemade cookies. Also nice touches!
