"We stay regularly in this hotel, can compare. The level of comfort is dicreasing through the years, needs a lot of investment, but if you want to sleep one night during your travel at a budget price, it is OK. Do not understand why the desk manager told us the hotel is full (he tried the same story last year), when they were clearly free rooms (the parking beeing at 1/10 of his capacity). He finally found our valid reservation, anyway it is not pleasant to discuss such issues at 1 a.m."

It took 30 mins to exit car park with hotel issued tickets which fail to raise exit barrier. Separately, wifi not accessible . Not acceptable in today’s age. Hotel layout weird and signage to some rooms disappears long before you’re close to room. I would not return to this hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on a driving trip through Burgundy. The staff here was exceptional and did everything they could to make our stay easy and comfortable. The hotel itself is charming, and I have to say that the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had on our trip. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance of everything you want or need to see while visiting Besancon. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel welcomed in Besancon. "
