Valerie graciously offered and refunded a portion of our fees for the minor inconvenience and VRBO apparently took her money but never gave it to us and that is on VRBO, not Valerie. After sunset, the public beach will also be closed and only residents of the villas will be able to visit the beach. The area is completely safe.
