Immaculate, spacious, and very well equipped.upgraded decor ,with lots of home comforts.Tranquil setting close to lakes.

Situated in the beautiful Haute-Charente region close to the Dordogne border, this tastefully restored and immaculately maintained 3 bedroom ( Max 6 adults plus children/infants )farmhouse is located in a tiny hamlet surrounded by woodland and close to Les Lacs de Haute Charente. Spacious and very well equipped, with extensive gardens and a large, private, fully enclosed swimming pool and sun deck with glorious views over rolling countryside.

The magnificent open plan lounge has original oak beams, a Charentaise fireplace and wood-burning stove. There are three sofas, dining table and chairs, and an extensive selection of books, games
Pool table .

The fully fitted kitchen incorporates a dishwasher, larder fridge, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, farmhouse dresser.The farmhouse style table and chairs seats six. The adjoining utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer.

A shower room with wc and wash-hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation.

On the first floor, a beautiful galleried landing serves three large bedrooms (one family room with double bed and daybed ,one double with cot,twin room,travel cot also available.and a family bathroom comprising bath, shower cubicle, wc, wash-hand basin and bidet.New upgraded bedding ,fluffy towels and linen robes now provided

The second floor provides an additional sitting room ideal for reading and using the internet.

Outside, the enclosed private swimming pool measures 10m x 6m and is up to 2m deep. 4 sun beds,Lots of outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the views includes a dining table, parasol and six chairs ,BBQs,outdoor wood burner .

There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities on the doorstep. The Lac de Mas Chaban and Lac de Lavaud are within a few minutes’ drive or bike ride and offer swimming, watersports, fishing, picnic sites, and restaurants.

Gezinsvakantie met opa en oma

Gastheer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en betrokken. Erg prettig. Alles goed aanwezig voor ons behalve keukenbestek en pannen minimaal voor onze samenstelling. Zwembad super en werd goed schoon gehouden tijdens ons verblijf. Door de vele spullen en accessoires leek het lastig schoon te houden. Onbeperkt handdoeken en grote badlakens. Erg fijn dat er wasmachine en droger was met klein kind. Tuin en omgeving piekfijn in orde en sfeervol

Relaxing retreat

We spent 8 nights at Maison L’allee at the end of August. It had everything we needed. Beautiful pool that was exceptionally well maintained. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. The pool benefits from the sun all day and lends itself to pleasant sunsets and stunning star gazing. Lyn and Paul are laid back, friendly and discreet. They made us and our two dogs feel welcome. The surrounding area is rich with parks, lakes and activities. There are also plenty of restaurants within a 30 minute radius.

Cottage calme et luxueux

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison très confortable, avec une belle piscine, un billard, un très joli jardin, dans un endroit à la fois calme et bien situé pour les visites. La maison a un air de cottage anglais très élégant, beaucoup de charme. Les propriétaires sont très agréables, serviables et discrets. Une adresse à retenir absolument !

Agréables vacances en Charente

Nous (4 adultes et 3 enfants) avons passé une très bonne semaine au calme dans cette belle location. Maison spacieuse, bien équipée (plus jeux, vélos,... à disposition) et tenue par des propriétaires avenants. Ces derniers étant anglais, prévoir tout de même de pouvoir lire/parler un minimum la langue de Shakespeare. La localisation était tout à fait ce que nous cherchions : calme au milieu d'une belle campagne avec de quoi faire des activités à proximité (lac, balades, fermes et sites historiques à visiter,...). Prévoir quelques minutes de voiture pour les courses ou la restauration dans les environs. Merci Lyn et Paul pour ces vacances !

Chouette maison dans un environnement très calme, piscine parfaite pour la famille. Propriétaires très sympathiques et très discrets. Site idéal pour une semaine en campagne, grottes, vélo-rail, lacs (balades et baignade) et accrobranche à proximité.

Comfortable house with beautiful pool

The house is large, comfortabel and has everything jou need. Large garden with lots of cosy places to sit. Friendly owners who live next door (enough privacy). Large pool, pool toys, pooltable. Supermarkt at about 15 minutes. Enough to do and see. Great place to spend your holiday!
