“The peaceful lakefront location is unbeatable and staff were very kind and responsive to our requests, and even upgraded us to a larger cabin. The clubhouse is also clean, bright and well-equipped. The cabins would be much more comfortable if they were upgraded to the same level as the clubhouse, e.g,, remove the carpets, add better lighting, and update bathrooms.”

“We had a great stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials for cooking, sleeping, bathing, and storing food. The added bonus of replenished firewood made our evening bonfires even more enjoyable. The lake amenities were excellent and easily accessible throughout our stay. Fishing was productive, and the complimentary rowboats, kayaks, and paddle boards with life jackets provided a great way to explore the lake. The lake is well-maintained with eight aeration……

“This was such a quaint little cabin. We were right on the lake. Once we left the paved road, I was getting a little concerned. It is really hidden back in the woods, but when we pulled up, the owner was right there to welcome us. He was so nice. It was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!”

“Absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the view and our entire stay!”

“I know it is rustic but they could clean the floor. Great view!”

“Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.”

“Good location close to Mackinac City less than 10 min drive. Great host very attentive. My only complaint are the beds are uncomfortable and the bathroom is a little tight.”

“The view of the lake and peaceful atmosphere is what drew us here. It didn’t disappoint. The fall colors were beautiful!”

“Definitely it’s the epitome of your old rustic lakeside cabin! I say that in a good way! Couple of things, The refrigerator door didn’t close all the way, we had to put a box in front of it to hold it closed. Maybe making some of the windows open with screens. Other than those, it was a beautiful, peaceful week!!”

“The cabin was clean and tidy. The host was very attentive and helpful. The lake was right out the door and very beautiful. The bathroom was small and in need of a facelift.”

“It was an amazing place to stay.”

“Cody was great very helpful and easily accessible. Accomodations were as described. The cabin was very quaint and comfortable. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!”

“We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. That being said, the cabin was very comfortable and super clean. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. The bed was very comfortable too. The only issue we had was connecting to the Internet with our phones. It was very spotty which was frustrating at times. If you want a very nice place to stay that gives a……

“Gorgeous view and very relaxing. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful home. Would have loved to see the home with some basics like a box of Kleenex, soap for the shower ( it was almost empty). Dixie cup for bathroom. Had I known none of this was available I would have brought. No shampoo either. At the end of the day I would rent again”

“The cabin is not what they portray. No heat and broken cabinets. No communication on refund.”
