Wonderful property with great access to the lake. We spent most of our stay on the back deck, dock, and in the lake. I look forward to coming back to this property.
Loved everything about the property. The kids had a blast kayaking and swimming in the lake, and it was nice to be convenient and close to Mackinac. We're already talking about coming back next summer!
This is our second time staying at this home. It is clean and spacious and a beautiful lake setting. We especially loved that we could bring our family dog and include her in our vacation. The view is breathtaking and the lake frontage is clean and perfect for swimming. We love coming here and hope to visit again!
We had such a wonderful time here! The house was set up with everything we could need for a relaxing stay. The view is unbeatable - we loved being on a quiet street while also a short drive from places like Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and Mackinac Island, as well as the Walmart for essentials. The pier, fire pit, and big screen TV were essential for more chill days. The property team was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!
This house sits right on a large lake. We were able to watch the sun rise each morning over the lake. I have never stayed in a rental that has been better stocked for a family's nee.
Our trip was amazing despite the weather. The house was so peaceful and relaxing. My family and I had a blast. Only note to make is the doors stick a bit so hard to close/open.
This is a fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage that is lakeside. We stayed for a full week and loved every minute of our stay. Kayaks are available and the home is furnished with many extras including laundry room, binoculars, and sleeps 8. We loved sitting on the large deck watching the moon rising and seeing the ducks and many birds during the daytime.
Our family had a great time at the house. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the home was warm and inviting with fabulous views of Lake Douglas. Of course we spent most of our time outside enjoying the kayaks, swimming, and watching the woodpeckers from the comfy deck chairs.
The house was beautiful and the view was even more beautiful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and also brought two of our own! We had such a great time full of adventures!

The cottage is very nice, very clean, great amenities, and generally in excellent condition. Some of exterior features were not yet in place (dock not in water, lightning on back deck not connected). But we were a little early in the season. Would definitely go back.
This is a wonderful property, very clean, well stocked on a beautiful lake. This is our second time staying here and both times we were very impressed.
