Family Weekend

This was the perfect Bach and close to the beach and shops with lots of parks for the kids, only big down side was the cost, it was very expensive for a 2 night getaway and check in at 3 and out by 10 made it less than 48hours.

Waitarere home stay

Easy walk to beach and fairy forest and play area in the forest which the kids loved. House spacious and had children's toys and DVDs which kept 6,4 and 1 year old occupied also fully fenced section. Kitchen had everything . Easy place to stay.

Good but has potential to be better

Overall we were happy with our experience but we were disappointed that we were short on bedding and hot water and we didn't get a call back from the property manager. We manged to fox the hot water ourselves but we had to go out and buy sheets. The house was clean and delightful but missing a few things for modern families, like a barbq, fans, clothes dryer stand, and the ability to make noninstant coffee! Kids loved the pool table though - that was a definite bonus.
