“Not recommend ”

“Property was clean and it is located right at the water. It is about 20-25 minutes away from the airport in an older part of Puerto Rico. There is a bar and restaurant attached. Food was good at the restaurant. Mixed drink ah not so much.”

“Small but sweet perfect for two people clean updated couldn’t figure out the stove. Try to YouTube how to turn it on, but I couldn’t figure it out. Thank you for having us.”

“Noisy in the morning. Was awakened by other guests at 330 in the morning to very very loud music!”

“Great location. Beach is right across the street. Once you get there you just have to show your room key and you get free chairs and umbrellas. Pool is also a nice perk. Seating is really comfortable and the pool itself was nice (water was pretty warm). The bar by the pool is convenient for drinks and bites. Room was small but nice. Breakfast each morning was pretty great. Eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and bagels. Made it really easy. ”

“Staff is very nice, the area is very tucked away. More if you want to stay away from touristy areas and get an actual feel of what boricuas live on a day to day basis. I would just say to remember to request housekeeping.”

“We loved everything about this place. It felt warm and inviting. All the staff were kind and very helpful. Everybody goes out of there to say hello. Most of the employees are bilingual. The room is beautiful and shower is amazing. Great water pressure. The pillows are so comfy. Umbrella and lounge chairs for beach are complementary. Kumo is delicious and has amazing waitstaff. Thank you again for taking such good care of us. It made our vacation that much more memorable. ”

“Great location, 3 blocks from the beach, great restaurants within walking distance. Room was nice and air conditioning worked well. Shared kitchen needs a deep clean. Bugs visible during the day. Device on roof of our room was loud and starts up every hour or so kept waking us up at night.”

“Beautiful, modern, and affordable room. I stayed in the 2 bed room with 4 people total and it was so spacious. The location is perfect for experiencing the La Placita nightlife (literally less than a minute walk away). Ear plugs are provide since the location is in La Placita. There’s a jacuzzi and outdoor shower in rinse off and sunscreen and bug spray are provided. Super easy for Ubers to find the hotel and overall could not recommend staying here more!! ”

“Overall, we had a great time in PR. The Tryst is right on the water, with a great bar overlooking the ocean. The food was also good. When it comes to the rooms, they could use some updating. The bathrooms felt dirty and small I had to shower right next to the toilet. The cleaning lady came one time out of the 6 days we were there because we asked her to since no one came the other days. If you want a cheaper option right on the water, but don’t care about being in the room much this could be a……

“Nice”

“I will be contradicting myself in this review. 7 days stay with the top room and Ocean view. The staff was amazing. The lobbies, cafe, mezzanine and bar were not only aesthetically stunning but immaculate. The atmosphere was lively. The gift shop was well stocked and convenient. Issue was with the room. It was dilapidated. I wish I could include pictures. The tile floors were greasy and slippery. There was mold and peeling paint in the ceiling. The air conditioning unit was loud and leaking.The……

“Clean and well kept. Two areas for improvement - stock fridge with bottled water and a new shower head to allow for adjustment to spray pattern - water pressure is outstanding. ”
