10/10 Excellent

"Cedar Inn was the cutest hotel. The outside of each room is a different color. We had the purple room. Beds were comfy, AC worked great. The lady that checked us in was so friendly. Annie's is a must for some meal. We went for breakfast and it was delicious, all homemade. Fish bones is another good place for sandwiches. The locals are the friendliest, most welcoming town we've ever been in. Southern hospitality at its best. I cannot say enough about this little slice of paradise."

"Loved the cabin; Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. They even got us a grill. You get a living room with big windows, nice bathroom, well equipped kitchen and the bedroom with a big bed. The cabin has 2 a/c units. The grounds were pretty. Liked the pool area too. Very cool that they give you a golf cart. We loved the bike rides. We also booked some horseback riding through the forest. My only complaint would be that they were doing construction behind the cabin. So our view was a bunch of construction equipment and workers. We couldn’t have our shades up a lot of times because of the workers. They started working very early every single time. Luckily we were waking up kind of early but if we wanted to wake up late that would have been a problem. You can hear the noise from the cabin. I just feel they should tell guest about construction. Kind of ruins the vibe to see all that machinery in your big windows. Otherwise, it was a great stay. And I would come back if they don’t have construction."

"The facilities at this location are somewhat dated, but for the price they were acceptable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The parking area was clean and the area was considerably quite at night. The breakfast offering was somewhat limited for what is usually provided by Quality Inns."

"Imagine a 4 day weekend of scalloping & fishing without waiting in a single boat launch line! Just got back from a long weekend over 4th of July! Walking distance from Yankeetown Marina (also great people), and a 30 minute boat cruise to see amazing sunsets at Bird Creek point!We had 9 adults, 1 baby and 3 boats. It is even better than the pictures! Every decor piece in this house is carefully curated from the scuba helmet ice bucket at the downstairs bar to the manatee pulls in the upstairs bathroom! Someone has taken thoughtful care to every detail! The AC works amazing! The full size mattress double bunkbed is rock solid- our 2 adult sons shared the top bunk and my husband and I shared the bottom. Not a squeak or bounce!We are excited to see the new dock when it is finished, but the damage from previous hurricanes did not affect our trip at all. The new grill worked great!We highly recommend boating or walking to Blackwater Restaurant. Brooks Dockside (we sadly missed the food truck) has amazing smoked mullet and fish dip!"
