The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests and offers three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed. One of the queen bedrooms also features a sofa that converts into two single beds, providing additional sleeping flexibility. In the open area on the second floor, there is also a double futon, making this cottage an ideal space for families and groups.
This property features inviting outdoor living spaces, including a spacious deck running the length of the home and facing 209A Midland. The deck offers privacy fencing and plenty of room for grilling, dining, entertaining, hanging towels, and storing beach chairs, kayaks, and SUPs. The home also features a second raised porch at the side entrance, above which is a sunroom with windows on three sides. The sunroom is accessible to the two outdoor decks via a charming spiral staircase.
The outdoor areas are decorated with umbrellas and pillows in vibrant beach blues and turquoise, creating comfortable and relaxing spaces for outdoor living. The landscaped yard includes mature pine trees that provide additional privacy.
This home is situated on a private back lot off Midland Avenue, the desirable first cross street on Lewes Beach. Its location makes it the closest street to Dairy Queen, historic downtown Lewes, and Cape Henlopen State Park, which offers bike trails and access to the ocean.
Access to off-street parking is through the alley, with a private and quiet entrance to the home just a few steps away. Additional street parking is also available on Midland Avenue, with a private, landscaped path leading from the back unit to the street. Trash receptacles for both units are located on Midland Avenue.
An outdoor shower is located at the back of the house, complementing the two full indoor bathrooms and making it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.
Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This is an additional fee that will NOT be included on VRBO.

Final payments are due 30 days prior to your arrival date, and will be automatically charged to your card on file if not paid prior to the due date.
