"Staff was extremely helpful and kind.
Hotel itself is very dated. Tv remote did not work but staff came right away and helped us get tv working. It meant having 2 remotes, 1 to change channels and 1 to control column.
Pool was not at all what was pictured when we booked the place. We booked due to the pool area having a kiddie pool, water slide and obstacle course in the pool. Upon arrival we found that the pool area had just been remodeled and the kiddie area was completely gone as was the obstacle course. The hot tub had been filled in completely except a few inches from the top and filled with water to make a very small, shallow kiddie pool. It was very disappointing. Yes, the new water slide was nice, but only 1 of the 3 kids we were traveling with could use it, the others were left to a tiny round wading pool with no toys or form of entertainment. Had we known the pool was changed we would have stayed at a better, more modern hotel with just a pool.
Breakfast was available, but only choice was to pay $16 per adult and $8 per child for a buffet style breakfast. Too pricey for kids and adults that eat very light.
If you miss the 70’s and are looking for a hotel with friendly and helpful staff, then this is the place for you."
