“My family really like this hotel.”

“The noise level is … terrible here. Although a secondary road, it’s used by 18 wheelers…. All night long. Our AC window unit was quite loud (a mixed blessing/deterrent) but not very productive in cooling the room. The sun rises at 5am… and you will know it because it BLASTS into the room with minimal light filtering. We were here for 9 hours only, checking in after 11:30 (lovely desk clerk at night relayed how to find the keys after hours!). However, never having seen a human manning the……

“Beauty place to stay. No TV in room and found out when we got there the restaurant was only open Monday and Tuesday. Quaint and super comfy in an amazing setting.”

“Great place to stay right in Keene Valley. Everything was great. Bed was comfortable. The blinds however needed fixed in our room. Part of them were broken off.”

“This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!”

“There is nothing positive about this facility and not sure how do they got so many positive feedbacks, happened to stay here with family and this is a very average ok property. Rooms were not super cleaned, it was just cleaned for the sake of accommodating guests , the internet was not working, coffe machines were not working, staff not available at office to go and make a complaint, all we can do is call the number that too from a location there no cell Phone range , have to say very average……

“We stayed at Mountain Brook Lodge for two nights, and our experience was excellent. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It's conveniently located just about 20 minutes from Lake Placid and is close to all the major attractions in the area. Parking is available right outside your room, which is very convenient. They also offer connecting rooms, making it a great choice for larger families or groups traveling together.”

“We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. The owners were very responsive, just make sure you connect to their wifi, since our phone service was off. Highly recommend if you are bringing a dog with you!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local……
