"Pros: the beds are comfortable. Cons: The breakfast is overpriced for one with very limited choice. I guess it is because the customers don’t have much choice near the area. I would recommend sleep in nearby small town over this historical hotel. Historical means history and also old if not well maintained. The overall building is outdated. The air conditioning in our room needs a filter change, the bathroom is old, bathtub pealed off and hot water is just warm. The night shift staff is not very welcoming. "

"Upon checking in and looking around I knew already what the condition of the hotel would be. Entered into our 2 bed room and smelled like pizza and foul smell. Bathroom was run down and smelled and water was slow to drain in sink. Not sure who is giving this the 4.8 star rating they have but it is NOT TRUE. Other hotel was already booked an we chose this because of the reviews. Nope. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. Gentleman at front desk was kind. "

"Great experience! If I could leave a 10 star review I would. I loved the isolation, the creek, and every little detail about the cabin. I spent most of my time fishing, riding around the parkway, and relaxing by the fire pit. Check in was simple and easy. I’ll definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time."

"This hotel needs some updating. The room was fine, but it wasn't as clean as it should be. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but the staff was wonderful."
