“The Latchis Hotel & Theatre or a Jim from the 1920s. The hotel also has a first run movie theater in it with those amazing decorations from that era. It is located one block from the center of downtown so all of the immunities for downtown Brattleboro are within walking distance of a quarter mile. And there are a lot of them. It is also near the railroad station which will soon be open to traffic. The Connecticut river is only a block and a half away.”

“The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

Every single staff member I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone was so kind and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a solo traveler, this also gave me a feeling of safety which I truly appreciate. The rooms may be slightly outdated, but was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The mattress was a bit softer than I prefer, but the A/C ran great and I slept like a baby all night with zero disturbance.……
