「Wonderful stay!! Comfortable beds, nice sized shower, skylight over bed, bunks for the kids, AC, and a lovely balcony to gaze at the mountains. Easy walk to everything, wonderfully warm and lovely receptionist who answered all questions and provided nice recommendations. We really appreciated the ice machine and laundry (washer and dryer, pay $10 euros at front desk for wash/dry/detergent). Big fridge and everything you’d need to prepare food. Highly recommend!!」

「Staying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!」

「The hot tub and terrace were gorgeous. Apartment was spacious and clean. Just a side note, the upper floor is designed for kids/juniors and it may be difficult to be used by tall adults. Great location just next to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. There is also an washer/drier but it is in the basement of the next building, you have to ask for it.」

「Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
