I kind of had to book this hotel on my way to it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and check in was painless.
The rooms were extremely old, though. On one hand, it was kind of a quaint oldness, like staying at grandma’s house. On the other hand, the heater was in the main room and didn’t do anything for the bathroom area with it’s cold, tile floors. The tiles were also pretty cold, and some of them were broken and sticking up at odd angles. This made it impossible to close the bathroom door unless you stood just right on a tile.
But it wasn’t awful. It was a nice cozy place to stay for one night on the way home. Like I said, it’s on or with spending the night at your grandma’s old fashioned and very old house. Cute, with cozy beds. The beds were big and soft.
