What a wonderful surprise! This apartment hotel is breathtaking and located in the heart of Limoges. Easy walking distance to shopping and the city center. The rooms are brand new and the property has been lovingly and wonderfully restored. This is truly the best place to stay in Limoges! A must stay!

The hotel is located in an old and beautiful former home of one of the Porcelain Barons for whom the city is renowned. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional but for the check-in process. They sent an email written totally in French around 3pm the afternoon we were due to check-in providing us with the electronic building and individual room door access codes. Of course, we were driving into the city and did not see this email. Fortunately there was a phone number on the reception room door and the person answering gave us our access code. The next morning at breakfast we learned that most of the guests are “English” speaking so that the email should always be bi-lingual … French and English for the convenience of all guests.

There was no one at the reception but the automatic checking in was a breeze! Love the hotel. Very clean! Americans might be worried about the curtainless shower but it is just fine. There are a few restaurants at walking distance. Receptionist in the morning was very nice. All in all great stay.

Beautiful stay in Limoge!

Beautiful studio apartments, very easy to access room without the need to check in at reception. Parking on site if needed. The room's small kitchenette was equipped very well and the bathroom was a great size. We adored the room's beautiful window! When we are back in Limoge, we would definitely stay here again!

This is a charming property! Once we received our entry code, understood parking, and realized we had to push REALLY hard to open the room door after entering code (I felt like I was breaking in), it is truly a lovely space. Be prepared to walk up additional stairs if on 3rd level, as the lift only serves to 2nd floor. They were most accommodating with our dietary restrictions for breakfast offerings, and evening restaurant suggestions were walkable and delicious! We shall stay again when in the area!

Good location but some aspects average.

The hotel room was clean and in a good location, within walking distance of the city centre. It was also quiet and had secure car parking facilities. The building was beautiful. However, the kitchen equipment was poor - for example, there were no plates, just one bowl, 2 forks but only one knife. 2 coffee pods were not sufficient. Two of the lights in the room did not work. The usb sockets at bedside did not work. The lift only went to the first floor after which there were stairs.

The house is located in a residential section of Limoges, which I prefer to the train station hotels. The building and the room are beautiful with luxurious details. The wifi is crap and I would not stay here if you need a good connection for work. But otherwise, delightful!

Luckily this was only a quick stop over. This place is nothing like the pictures online. The flooring is made to look like wood but it’s actually some kind of felt carpet and stains all over it. The bathroom was horrible, there is no divider between the shower and the sink/toilet and then you’re supposed to use the provided full size squeegee to clean up the water. We didn’t even shower there as it was too gross. The walls have wallpaper all torn up in the bathroom and bedroom. The overall experience was terrible. Do not waste a nickel on this place. We couldn’t wait to wake up and get out of there.

Unusual checking in system, we didn't see any staff but I understand there is a reception. You're given a key code in advance via email which works for the entrance door and your room. Well equipped, clean, nice enough location, not far from the centre. Can't fault it really. Oh, could have a had a more modern TV, perhaps with option for Netflix etc. There were 20 or so basic channels in French, not even BBC News 24 for an a channel in English though.

We arrived on Sunday and the front door was closed with no staff on site. We had not realized that we had to use the code emailed to us to get in. Apparently they do not have any staff on site on Saturday or Sunday at reception other than for breakfast service. It’s a lovely old building and more like an appartment hotel. Parking was great on site and breakfasts very good.
