“Camp Makwa truly exceeded our expectations! The cabin is beautifully decorated and equipped with every comfort we could ask for. My husband and I loved watching the stunning sunsets, and our dogs had a fantastic time being with us. My husband particularly enjoyed taking one of the kayaks out to explore the lake. We also appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and the grill on the porch, which made cooking and dining a delight.We were sad to leave this beautiful property and hope to come back……

“We wanted a getaway in a beautiful area. We decided this would be a great place as it was centrally located to all the areas we wanted to visit. The cabin itself was amazing. It had 4 bedrooms that provided ample space. Two had bunk beds and each room had at least one queen size bed. Though they were a bit squeaky, they were super comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but it was ample space for us. The living room space was perfect with a large upgraded TV with a Roku. Our favorite part was……

“This is a beautiful four bedroom log cabin on a quiet lake in the north woods of Wisconsin . The living space was great with a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed kayaking , canoeing and paddle boarding (equipment provided). Has a large grassy area and grass goes right to the water . Water is shallow which was great for our young grandkids . We saw loons and an eagle everyday. Hiking trails and golfing are nearby . It was a perfect vacation !”

“The hosts were very prompt with response times and answered all questions. Perfect spot for a getaway out of the city, wish we could’ve stayed longer! ”

“We had a family gathering of six couples. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was a bonus. The location on the lake is beautiful. Our weather was a little chilly, but we just sat by the campfire. This is our second year of staying here we will be returning next year”
