“This home was nice and has some potential, but we chose to leave early for the following reasons: Smell. The owner assured us that the carpets were professionally cleaned prior to our arrival, but we still smelled a strong odor that was reminiscent of a dog.Unclean areas. We noticed food stuck on the counters in the kitchen, and there were also screws on the floors and the counters. The screws were likely from the construction that was taking place on the back deck.Bathrooms. Both bathrooms just……

“Stayed here for a visit to our daughter in Augusta. Great location, plenty of space, always love having two bathrooms!”

“They staged it for picks but not functionality. No night tables, end tables, coffee tables to set anything on. No Keurig for single cup coffee. Don’t need to brew a pot. Microwave door is broken. Have fun with that. No filtered water. Bedding was not comfortable. Door knobs are antiques and fall off often. They need a bathroom fan. Especially since there’s only one. Catch my drift? ”

“This home was very cozy and exactly as it was advertised. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to plenty of places to eat and things to do. My only complaint is the walkway headed to the cottage. It wasn’t well lit and could cause someone to fall. We have family in Augusta so this will be our go to place if available. ”
